IT Integrations Manager

The Simms organization is growing and we’re looking to fill the position of Information Technology Integrations Manager . This is a full-time, in-house position based in Bozeman, Montana.

In this role, you will be leader on the IT team and will be responsible for the functionality, support, and optimization of Simms integration and middleware environment.

The role will work closely with both technical and business staff to develop and maintain high performing and highly available enterprise business systems.

  • Produces a bulletproof, high performance integration environment that runs at the core of the company’s technology ecosystem.
  • Effectively translates business rules, requirements, and customer experience needs into concrete and meaningful information for the business.
  • Uses a mastery of EAI and ETL skills to transform data and optimize transaction flows.
  • Collaborates with key stakeholders to optimize and improve business process flows.
  • Adds value to technology and business process related projects as a key leader.
  • Adds value to the technology and information environment by providing consult and insight into buy/build decisions.
  • Efficiently manages and prioritize projects and operational activities both individually and with regard to technical teams and projects.
  • Produces highly capable stakeholders and systems users through exceptional teaching and training skills.
  • Able to develop, maintain, and measure process improvements pertaining to both the technology and the business environment.
  • Successfully automates manual processes with a focus and understanding of improvement cycles.
  • Capable of leading significant enterprise projects and operational activities pertaining to the enterprise integrations environment.

Successful candidates should possess:

  • A bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in information systems management, computer science, engineering, or other technical discipline.
  • 10+ years of progressive IT experience is required.
  • 4+ years’ experience managing and leading teams is required.
  • A mastery of commonly used integration concepts and functions such as API’s, EAI, ETL, REST, XML, web services, OData/OAuth, JSON, SOAP, data/message mapping, routing and orchestration, service abstraction, Microservices, EDI, Enterprise Service Bus (ESB), Service Fabrics, and middleware; and can leverage these concepts to execute optimum integration solutions for the enterprise.
  • An understanding of Master Data Management and its value and importance to the business, along with an understanding of the role that integration plays in MDM.
  • 5+ years direct hands on experience with automated integration tools such as CastIron/AppConnect, BizTalk, LogicApps, Boomi, Mulesoft, Snaplogic, or Informatica is required.
  • Extensive SDLC knowledge and iterative and agile development processes such as SCRUM, RUP, KANBAN, or similar
  • Extensive experience working with and integrating core enterprise software applications, including major CRM and ERP applications – Dynamics Navision experience is a plus.
  • MSSQL, SSAS, SSRS, or PowerBI experience is preferred.
  • Software development experience is a plus.
  • Experience with Sharepoint Administration or development is preferred.
  • Familiarity with contemporary technology and social paradigms such as SMAC.
  • An in depth understanding of common business and accounting concepts such as inventory, order flow, sourcing, supply chain, product lifecycle, marketing, and sales lifecycles.
  • A strong ability to express and grasp technology and business process flows.
  • Strong communication and teaching skills.
  • A willingness and desire to participate and lead change.
  • Outstanding problem-solving skills.
  • A process-improvement driven attitude.
  • Must be legally able to work in the United States.
