Junior Software QA Engineer / Intern

With 100M users Zello is the most popular push-to-talk app in the world, created by a small team from Austin, TX. Our business-focused ZelloWork product is used by thousands of companies including brands like Starwood Hotels, YRC Freight and IKEA.

We are looking for Junior Software QA engineer / intern to join our software development team. This is entry-level full-time position based in Austin, TX which doesn’t require prior work experience. Remote work is not possible.

Requirements:

• CS / SE / Math / Physics student or recent graduate

• Great written and oral communication skills

• Good understanding of how computers, smartphones, and networks work

• Reliable, details and results oriented

• Experience with of one of popular programming languages (Java, Go, JavaScript, C++, Python etc)

What you’ll do:

• Manually test Zello mobile, web, and desktop apps

• Create test plans and execute them

• Analyze user reports, recreate and isolate issues

• File bug reports, verify bugfixes

• Create and run automated test scenarios
