14/hour plus tips – Segway Tour Guide

Show tourists and locals around downtown Austin as a Segway tour guide. No experience with Segways is needed, as we provide all training. Nation Tours is one of the largest Segway tour companies and Segway dealers in the world. We are growing quickly and expanding our Austin office. Join one of the country’s fastest growing names in tourism. Great team atmosphere and plenty of room for career advancement. $14 per hour PLUS tips average $10-$25 per tour. Hours will average 15-25 per week.

QUESTIONNAIRE:

1- How much do you need to make per week after taxes?

2- How many hours per week are you looking to work?

3- What days are you available?

4- Do you have any potential schedule conflicts?

5- Are you currently employed, and if so, with whom?If not, when were you last employed and why did you leave?

6- How soon are you looking to start?

7- Are you physically able to stand for long periods of time (some days over 10 hours)?

8- Can you handle working outside in the different temperatures and weather that we experience in TX for tours? (40 degrees in winter to as highs in summer of 100+.

9- Have you ever been a professional tour before? If yes, please tell us your experience?

10- Are you comfortable speaking in front of small groups?

11- Do you need any days off in the next 90 days?

12- Can you reliably commute to downtown Austin?

13- Are you available to work on weekends and holidays?

Great candidates have customer service experience, server, waiter, waitress, or bartender experience, hotel concierge or hotel valet experience, Starbucks, Chick-Fil-A, Olive Garden or other high volume retail store or restaurant experience.
