Job Description

Zt Systems is seeking a Diagnostic Software developer to be based out of our Secaucus, NJ office. You will play a vital role in the design, development and deployment of critical diagnostic applications, tools and processes used in the design, manufacturing and on-going support of server and rack level products.

Responsibilities and Essential Functions

Participate in hardware R&D discussions, resulting in decisions, action plans and development of Linux/Windows test suites for server components

Use specifications to design and develop diagnostic tests for board bring-up, functional and manufacturing tests

Design and implement automated testing and data gathering; participate in risk analysis to enable informed review of test plans and test cases

Design and integrate modifications and additions to existing test

Develop and maintain the Burn-in program for the system level and the rack level test

Provide training to operators, supervisors, managers on new or modified processes

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Excellent C/C++ programming skills

Ability to develop programs in SQL Server

Knowledge of Linux/Windows platform

Ability to develop Bash/shell script in the Linux environment

Ability to use Win DDK to develop windows drivers

Knowledge of basic testing, coding, and debugging procedures

Competencies

Demonstrated strong ownership, self-motivation and ability to work autonomously

Ability to independently evaluate, select and apply standard engineering techniques, procedures and criteria, using judgment in making adaptations and modifications

Education

Bachelor’s Degree in a computer-related field. Master’s Degree preferred

Experience

1-3 years of relative experience as a software programmer

Hands on experience with C/C++
