The Junior Residential Project Manager is a pivotal position, responsible for assisting the Senior Project Managers in any and all aspects of the installation of PV systems. We re looking to develop another highly driven, self-motivated individual with the leadership skills needed to manage multiple solar projects at a time. Are you teachable? Our Junior Residential Project Managers can be expected to manage 10+ projects at a time under the discretion of the Senior Project Manager as the position will serve as a training platform to the Senior Project Management role.

Essential Functions:

Assist the Sr. PM on the tasks associated with the Site Analysis. Some tasks may be delegated as the Jr. PM s sole responsibility, depending on the preference of the Sr. PM.
Complete/Update the PV system layout and supporting Site Analysis documents for submittal to the Customer for approval, to Structural Engineering for a roof evaluation, as well as to Design.
Complete a system efficiency report for the projects managed by the Sr. PM/Jr. PM team and upload to the customer file.
Complete a parts list and submit to Purchasing/Inventory Control.
Assist the Sr. PM in coordinating installations with the customer and installation teams.
Assist the Sr. PM in the management of the day-to-day responsibilities of the installation teams.
Assist the Sr. PM in managing the schedules of the installation teams.
Help in keeping accurate records and notes of the happenings of installations.

Skills and Knowledge:

Keen attention to detail.
Can effectively read/understand blueprints and electrical one-line diagrams.
Exceptional communication skills.
Ability to effectively manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced work environment.
Can handle high stress opportunities with customers.
Some construction background is helpful.
Ability to work independently, without direct supervision.
Creativity and effective problem solving skills a must!
