JavaScript Developer

Homesite is a unique and innovative insurance company. We sell primarily through large, well-known insurance companies using white label solutions we create.

We are looking for a junior front end developer that can setup and code UX experiments using our front end test tool, Optimizely. The developer will work closely with the site optimization team implementing the tests they come up with.

Responsibilities

• Develop and test cross-browser and cross-platform web experiments using HTML/CSS/JavaScript
• Work with the Optimization team to plan out experiments and implementation timelines
• Ensure experiments are properly verified before pushing to production
• Work within the Optimizely toolset to program and setup new experiments

Basic qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science or technically related field, or equivalent education/experience
• 2+ years’ experience with:
• front end web technologies such as HTML, CSS, JSON
• JavaScript (ES5 / ES6 / ES2016+)
• Solid understanding of good programming practices, cross browser challenges and device compatibility
