Java Full Stack Engineer

Expert Technical Solutions has an immediate opening for a Java Full Stack Engineer with an exciting, quickly growing client in Atlanta, GA. Our client is looking for a Java Engineer who has Client Facing, Cloud-Based Commercial API experience. This person will be responsible for new feature development and improvements for our clients’ marketing automation software and cloud-based messaging platforms. This person will participate in an agile software engineering team and coordinate with other team members including product managers, front-end engineers, and operations.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Quickly become expert in the products and features our client offers
• Learn in detail the application architecture for all components
• Actively contribute to requirements specifications for new and enhanced features

DESIRED SKILLS and EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering
• 4+ years of experience developing and maintaining software in a SaaS environment
• 2+ years of experience in a Java Developer role
• Experience with JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and Angular preferred
• Proficiency with the Spring framework
• Can efficiently design and optimize SQL queries
• Prior experience working with cloud-based commercial API solutions
• Proficiency with the Linux
• Some experience with Amazon Web Services (EC2, S3, SQS, RDS, etc)
• Demonstrated familiarity with continuous integration servers and plugins such as Jenkins, Puppet, Git, and Chef
• Very comfortable and productive within Agile teams
