Java Developer

Job Summary & Responsibilities

o Must be proficient in Java

o Must have proficient SQL programming knowledge

o Must have experience working with Restful Web Services

o Must have database experience (SQL Server, Oracle or other)

o Must be able to interface with databases using Java code

o Testing experience with Junit

o Experience with Hibernate or similar object-relational mapping tool

o Good communication skills

o BS in Computer Science or Engineering or equivalent experience

Basic Qualifications

o Build data access functions in Java

o Integrate new data review workflows into existing L2 review eTask

o Make changes to trigger data persistence L2 data review eTask acceptance

o Create data model/tables and persistence logic in the new datastore

o Add tableau reports to visualize data

o Create code to retrieve data from the new data store to be sent to PWM

o Setup Procmon to send feed to PWM every business day

o Write JUnit tests to test all Java code changes

o Create test plans, and perform end-to-end testing of the new functionality.

Preferred Qualifications

o Front-End experience is a plus
