IT Solutions Developer Internship

Looking to intern as a Developer in our Technology division? As technology is ever changing, at Wellmark we are continuously working to stay at the forefront of providing innovative and new technologies to our members externally and internally. Wellmark is looking to hire developer interns across our Technology division to contribute and learn how our technologies are modernizing how we do business.

What projects might I support? Although subject to change, examples of projects you will be contributing to include: Develop applications and websites using .Net framework Learn how to integrate with SQL server Assist with project work to help design, develop, test, implement, and maintain .Net applications Contribute to a redesign of Wellmark’s secure website that our members use and the user experience for our check claims status application

Minimum Qualifications Required (all must be met to be considered):

To be considered you will be a sophomore, junior, senior or graduate level student in MIS, CIS, business or related program and have:

Strong organizational skills with the ability to meet strict deadlines

Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively work with the business areas

Knowledge of programming languages (SQL, .NET, C#) or techniques – structured and/or object-oriented Ability to see a task through to completion independently or as a team member Analytical problem solving skills

Hiring Specifications Preferred:
Angular experience preferred
