As a Manager, you’ll work as part of a team of problem solvers, helping to solve complex business issues from strategy to execution. PwC Professional skills and responsibilities for this management level include but are not limited to:

  • PwC has an potential opportunity for an experienced IT Service Engineer who will be responsible for the maintenance of the computer networks, providing technical support and ensuring smooth running of IT systems. You will monitor and maintain the systems, install and configure hardware and software and solve technical problems.

    Responsibilities:

    Research and identify solutions to software and hardware issues

    Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues, including account setup and network configuration

    Installing and configuring computer hardware, software, systems and networks

    Track computer system issues through to resolution, within agreed SLA’s

    Setting up accounts for new users

    Repairing and replacing equipment when necessary

    Assist problem solving through remote access

    Properly escalate unresolved issues appropriately

    Ensure that all issues are properly logged

    Follow up with clients to ensure that their systems are fully functional after troubleshooting

    Requirements:

    Minimum 3 years working experience as a Technical Support Engineer, Desktop Support Engineer, IT Helpdesk Technician, or similar role

    Minimum of a Diploma in Information Technology

    Supporting certifications, including MSCE, A+, N+, and others

    Working experience in the Financial Services industry in a relevant role

    Good understanding of computer systems, mobile devices and other tech products

    Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot basic technical issues

    familiarity with remote desktop applications and helpdesk software

    Excellent problem solving and communication skills
