Job Description

This position is responsible for the prioritization and scheduling of patient examinations and patient instruction concerning preparation and timetable. He/she is also responsible for answering phones and directing calls as necessary.

Essential Job Duties

Schedule patients for examination and give instructions regarding exam preparation.

Coordinate emergency and add-on examinations with technical staff and radiologists.

Prioritize patient examinations and coordinate multiple examinations with other areas.

Provide information concerning examination content, pre-examination instructions, and timetables.

Act as a liaison between physician offices and department concerning needed preps, medical necessity, information and problems.

Answer calls that come into the department and routes them to appropriate personnel.

Entry Rate: $13.93

Benefits Eligible: Yes

Shift Details: Part-Time, 24 Hours, Monday – Friday 7:30 am -12:30 am

Department: Medical Imaging Reception 1st Floor

Minimum Requirements

Experience using computers in an office setting or doing data entry.

Customer service experience.

Physical Requirements

Hearing/Listening, Manual Dexterity, Seeing, Speaking.

Preferred Requirements

Medical terminology experience or training.

Experience in a Radiology setting.

Bi-lingual.
