General Ledger Accountant

Dallas, Texas

The GL Accountant role includes duties associated with ac-

counting, budgeting, taxes, insurance and other responsi-

bilities as required.

PRIMARY DUTIES: Ensure accurate IFRS accounting per

Oxea accounting policy and procedures Support quar-

terly and annual external audit Provide governmental re-

porting Receivables and Payables Bank accounting

Support Group budgeting and forecasting process and va-

riance analyis Support gap close initiatives based on vari-

ance analysis Support state and federal tax preparation

Support deferred tax calculation Support external audits

by governmental agencies Manage annual insurance re-

newal process of 20+ policies. Respond to inquiries and

assist with claims processing Participate in SAP and Ac-

counting Process Improvements Other duties as required.

REQUIRED SKILLS: CPA and BS in Accounting or Finance-

Minimum of 3 years accounting experience in manufactu-

ring Budgeting and forecasting experience Strong profi-

ciency in Excel and SAP or other ERP system experience

Experience in intercompany and foreign exchange accoun-

ting Able to work in a team environment with strong techni-

cal & organizing abilities.

PREFERRED SKILLS: Petrochemical industry and IFRS

experience.
