Full-Stack Developer
Key Role:

Serve as a part of a team of developers to develop innovative solutions incorporating micro–services, Web components, containerization, DevOps, and NoSQL frameworks to drive insights from vast amounts of structured and unstructured data. Engage with multiple functional groups to comprehend client challenges, prototype new ideas and new technologies, and help to create solutions to drive the next wave of innovation. Maintain responsibility for learning new technologies and creative problem solving. Collaborate with and contribute to open source software communities. Develop software solutions using the latest technology, including Angular2, Node, Polymer, and Spring Boot. Ensure quality delivery of software through thorough testing and reviews.

Basic Qualifications:

-2+ years of experience with hands–on software design, implementation, and testing

-Experience in server–side Java and in large–scale distributed systems

-Experience with using JavaScript libraries, including jQuery, D3, Leaflet, and YUI, HTML and CSS, and solving cross–browser compatibility issues

-Experience with developing service APIs for external consumption

-Experience in data structures and algorithms and modular software design

-Knowledge of RESTful service design, development, and testing

-Ability to demonstrate clean coding habits, attention to detail, and a focus on quality

-Ability to quickly learn technical concepts and communicate with multiple functional groups

-Secret clearance

-BA or BS degree

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with JavaScript frameworks, including AngularJS, Ember, React, or Knockout

-Experience with build or scaffolding tools, including Maven, Gulp, Grunt, Bower, and Yeoman

-Experience with large–scale, distributed systems design and development and scaling and performance

-Experience with the whole Web stack, including protocols and Web server optimization techniques

-Experience with DevOps methods and tools, including Jenkins, Git, SVN, Jira, Cucumber, Docker, or Vagrant

-Knowledge of at least one of the following scripting languages: Python, Node, Ruby, or Bash

-Knowledge of at least one of the following servlet containers: Apache Tomcat, JBoss, or Jetty

-Knowledge of Hadoop or other big data solutions
