Frontend Web Developer

Roles and Responsibilities

Work with designers and UI/UX experts to convert designs into web assets

Build front end javascript architectures for better consumption and presentation of data

Provide the best user experience when loading and presenting tons of data asynchronously’

Build and optimize web pages for speed and responsiveness

Assist back-end developers with coding and troubleshooting

Provide continuous support and maintenance for numerous web properties

Adhering to best standards and using the right design patterns in writing maintainable code in Javascript

Come up with best standards of implementations across web properties

Ability to write quality documentation to support other developers Required Skills and Qualifications

HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, PHP, Responsive Web Design, Cross Browser Development

Experience working with

One or more Javascript Frameworks(JQuery, React.js, Angular JS etc)

One or more Javascript Unit Testing Frameworks

Building applications with Node.js

One or more CSS Frameworks.

Gulp or Grunt

RESTful Web Services

Git

Understanding of asynchronous request handling, partial page updates, and AJAX

Understanding of SEO principles and adhering to standards

Experience wth Amazon Web Services a plus

Experience with Ruby a plus

Experience with E-Commerce a plus

Education and Experience

Required Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or related fields

Minimum 3 years of experience as a front end web developer required

Masters preferred
