Job Summary :
The person hired for the position of Oral Care Solutions Division Business Finance Analyst will provide financial counsel and support the global Orthodontic business unit team. Responsibility will also include engagement in specific activities related to the Monrovia, California operations.
Primary Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
Support the business teams by providing proactive financial counsel to influence business thinking
Develop, drive and attain the annual operating plan and quarterly estimates
Actively engage in the strategic planning process with the business teams
Engage and partner with the USAC in the P&L close each month including necessary analysis
Articulate results through financial analysis, influencing business thinking and negotiating outcomes to ensure business results attainment
Provide financial analysis of investment opportunities, new product opportunities, pricing plans, etc.
Proactively develop analysis and work with business to drive change and support Business Transformation efforts
Assure full compliance with U.S. GAAP and 3M financial standards
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited university
Minimum of four (4) combined years of finance and/or accounting experience
Preferred Qualifications:
Demonstrates ability to act as a change agent
Considers implications beyond own area across functions, businesses
Strong communication and influencing skills
Sound analytical skills and attention to detail
Advanced knowledge of Excel
SAP experience
MBA in Finance-Accounting-Economics or other business from an accredited institution
Project management experience
Location: Maplewood, MN
Travel: May include up to 10% domestic travel
Relocation: Is authorized
