Northrop Grumman Corporation Technology Services Sector is seeking a Financial Analyst, reporting to the Manager of Financial Reporting in Herndon, VA.

This analyst will interact with various sector, division and corporate staff to solve

reporting issues and meet reporting requirements, and is responsible for the following accounting/reporting activities:

– Assist with the sector monthly and quarterly financial close deliverables

– Coordinate and consolidate financial statements

– Maintain month-end closing documentation

– Assist with preparation of year-end financial reporting packages and tax packages

– Prepare financial statement analytics and other quarterly management reports

– Provide audit support related to SOX, internal and external financial statement audits

– Maintain the Financial Reporting department’s SOX documentation and evidence of the operation of controls

– Provide financial reporting support for other reporting projects as assigned

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

• BS degree in accounting, finance or a closely related field
• Advanced computer skills, especially in the use of MS Office (Excel, Word and PowerPoint
• Must possess strong analytical and excellent verbal and written communications skills
• Proven ability to operate in a dynamic environment and maintaining an attention to detail.
• Knowledge financial statements and general accounting principles
• GPA of 3.25 or better

Preferred Qualifications:

• CPA or CPA candidate
