Northrop Grumman is seeking New Graduates to join the Professional Development Program (PDP) in Business Management.

As a PDP, you will participate in a three year rotational training program to develop competencies in a variety of specializations. The PDP rotations offer the opportunity to experience a variety of job assignments before making a

commitment to a particular position. The program will support the individual’s growth through training, skill development, and networking opportunities. This program gives its participants the ability to choose their assignments from a variety of departments based on their skills, areas of interest, and availability.

This position will support the Technology Services Sector, reporting to the Sector Rates & Budgets Manager, and will be located in Herndon, VA.

  • This position will be responsible for budget analysis for the sector functional organizations.
  • This person will interact with Sector functional staff to solve daily budgeting issues and partner with the organizations to maximize available resources and assist with management and analysis of the budgets.
  • This position will aid in the preparation of the Forward Pricing Rate Package, monthly budget vs actual reporting and other ad hoc requests, and will frequently pull system data reports and provide analysis.
  • Areas of concentration include analysis of budget vs actual variances, indirect charging and utilization rate analysis, headcount analysis and forecasting, controllable indirect pool analysis and forecasting and ad hoc reporting as necessary.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

  • Completion of a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field
  • 3.25 GPA or higher (unofficial academic transcripts must be provided at time of application by uploading the documents to your profile)
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and proactively (i.e. self-motivated)
  • Advanced computer skills, especially in the use of MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Excellent organizational and prioritization skills
  • Demonstrated strong verbal and written communications skills
  • The ability to interface with multiple disciplines and varying levels of management
  • US Citizenship

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 3.7 GPA or higher
  • Internship experience, leadership & teamwork experience, interpersonal communications skills, and/or involvement with Diversity & Inclusion organizations.
  • Proven success as a team player and collaborator and eagerness to learn in a dynamic, fast paced environment
  • Academic major or coursework in Finance, Business Administration, Accounting
