Entry Level Financial Analyst

Entry level Financial Analyst opening with a publicly traded, buy-side asset management firm in Boston, MA. The ideal candidate would be a recent college graduate with a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business, Management or Mathematics and one to two internships within financial services. A Bachelor’s Degree is required for this position; however, an internship is not.

Position Overview :

• Analyzing inflows/outflows of cash and using your finding to forecast daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual cash balances
• Executing/processing financial transactions
• Continuously evaluate treasury options to improve earnings on cash
• Investigate/anticipate any increases or decreases in cash versus forecast
• Communicating professionally and constructively to effectively resolve issues in order to minimize risk and exposure
• Performing specialized operational securities processing activities in support of the firm’s business lines
• Ensuring clients are provided with accurate financial information and ensure the company is in compliance with all banking rules/standards
• Instruction receipt and authentication, entry instruction and verification (dual controls), processing and recording, reporting and acknowledgement, and reconciliation
• Trade entry and foreign exchange processing
• Providing superior client service, research and resolution

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree (no specific major/concentration needed)
• Proficient with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint etc.)
• Strong organizational skills
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Strong work ethic and the ability to work both individually and in groups
