Donation Station Attendant (ADS) Tumwater

ADS Donation Attendants work out in the community at one of our many donation trailers accepting donations and issuing tax receipts as necessary.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Keeps area neat, clean, and free of debris.
• Takes donations from donors and carries them into trailer.
• Sorts donations (clothing and household items) into bags or boxes.
• Stacks bags and boxes in trailer.

Physical Demands : While performing the duties of this job, the employee frequently stands, bends, twists, stoops and carries items up stairs with 8 steps, and places them in trailer. Items weigh up to 50 pounds. Average is 30 to 50 trips per day, carrying donations up steps and into trailer. Approximately 25% weight up to 10 pounds; 25% weigh from 10 to 25 pounds; 25% weight 25 to 40 pounds; 25% weigh 40 to 50 pounds. Some furniture items may be pushed or pulled.

Work Environment : While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to outdoor weather conditions. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
