Director of Consulting Services & Strategy

Kraft Analytics Group (KAGR)

The Director of Consulting Services & Strategy will manage the consulting services group of KAGR. The Director collaborates with clients to understand their data, technology and broader organizational needs and advance client’s use of KAGR solutions. Critical to Director’s success is the ability to distill vast amounts of information, both verbally and in writing, for our clients and translate to KAGR’s technical, analytics, strategic marketing and support functions.

Consulting Services

  • Client Relationships
  • Lead the client engagement process and manage staff to address client needs while identifying new opportunities
  • Understand clients’ current state, including technology partners, data sources and data governance
  • Document issues, opportunities and understand technology landscape in order to define technical solutions using KAGR
  • Define current system technical architecture, limitations and means to improve in collaboration with internal KAGR team
  • Drive the data collection and evaluation process for multiple client engagements
  • Define potential organizational structures, data governance process and business drivers to payback investment
  • Own the delivery of service offerings to clients, ensuring engagements are completed on-time, to standard, within budget, and with a high-level of client satisfaction
  • Team Development
  • Oversees multiple project delivery teams in the execution of defined methodologies to meet engagement requirements and expectations
  • Leads assigned consulting resources — both direct reports and delivery teams – to drive individual performance metrics and to develop required skillsets for assigned associates
  • Participates in the recruitment and on-boarding of new associates
  • Collaborates with sales on forecasts, client business development, RFP responses, and development of cost estimates to ensure profitability of engagements

Strategy

  • Business Development
  • Support and/or lead in business development efforts for Consulting Services or broader KAGR product
  • Assist in ongoing overarching business development strategy with respect to targets, industries, etc.
  • Develop proposals and pricing templates and structure. Ensure consistency and tracking of pricing
  • Develop analytic and strategic marketing cases to drive client success and usage of KAGR products
  • Partner Business Development
  • Understand shifting technology, focus of key partners and provide feedback/guidance as needed
  • Work with partners/vendors to drive product roadmaps
  • Work with technical team to understand data sources, business lines & clients challenges for partnership development
  • KAGR Development
  • As business dictates, provide strategic and analytic support on new business evaluation, budgeting, and other needs
  • Degree in business, quantitative discipline (mathematics, statistics), finance, economics, MIS or equivalent work experience. MBA degree preferred
  • 10+ years experience with a focus on technology implementation, and analytics & database management (specifically, relational databases, data quality/ mining, process design and mapping of data and data flows)
  • Experience working in a consulting organization and a thorough understanding of business situation evaluation, solution development/delivery, process/project management and managing a case team
  • Experience developing and managing teams of professionals in a consulting environment
  • Clear and concise in communicating information, with the ability to actively listen to what others are saying
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Proven ability to create technical documentation and visuals for data infrastructure
  • Must be detail-oriented, proactive and an inquisitive thinker
  • Ability to multi-task with a sense of urgency and troubleshoot with purpose
  • Flexibility and ability to juggle multiple projects and changing priorities in a fast-paced, customer centric environment
  • Cross-functional department working experience
  • Knowledge and experience with CRM, SQL, R, and Python a plus
