Deputy City Clerk

Provides a variety of routine and complex supervisory, clerical, and administrative work in the administration of the city government, through the office of the City Clerk. In absence of City Clerk, attend regular and special city council meetings; oversee or perform an accurate recording of the proceedings, preparation of the minutes using proper legislative terminology recording, indexing and filing for the public records; distribute information as requested. Assist with coordinating the administration of all elections.

Experience as a Municipal Clerk, Deputy Clerk or closely related position in a Municipality, and CMC designation preferred but not required.
