DB2 Systems Programmer

Location: Raleigh NC or Columbia MO

DO NOT SUBMIT DB2 DBA. This NOT an Admin position.

DB2 Systems Developer

• DB2 systems mainframe programmer: Can independently install and upgrade DB2 running on z/OS, using currently supported versions.
• Strong SMPE and MVS skills Can independently install and upgrade commonly used DB2 Tools from IBM & 3rd party vendors (e.g. BMC, CA & Compuware)
• Can independently manage day to day DB2 system admin requests (e.g. DB2 security, DB2 Health checking utilities, etc.)
• Can independently execute DB2 system level recoveries (local and in support of Disaster Recovery)
• Strong communication skills for both verbal and written in English Years of experience

Salary: $55.00 /hour

Required education:

• Bachelor’s

Required experience:

• DB2 Tools from IBM & 3rd party vendors: 5 years
• install and upgrade DB2 running on z/OS: 5 years
