Data Research Associate

The Data Research Associate is a vital liaison between our Senior Science group and the Data Services team that develops and manages data assets. The Data Research Associate assures that we acquire and/or develop appropriate data to support prospective research goals.

Responsibilities

  • Identify new data sources based on research focus area needs
  • Identify and document enhancements to existing data sources
  • Oversee development process and validate resulting data assets
  • Assist data services in communicating and socializing new and existing data assets
  • Collaborate with Sr. Science group to evaluate emerging technologies
  • Participate in development and execution of research initiatives

Qualifications

  • Advanced degree in public health or quantitative field
  • Experience with health care information, information systems
  • Health Care Analytics/informatics background
  • Experience with analytic and/or ETL tools (R, SQL, Python, etc.)
