Credit Analyst Intern (Temporary Full Time) – Dallas, Turtle Creek LPO

Hours: Monday – Friday 8:30 am to 5:30 pm

Prosperity Bank is currently seeking to fill the position of a Temporary Full Time Credit Analyst Intern at our Dallas, Turtle Creek LPO.

The Credit Analyst Intern will spend the majority of their time monitoring and coordinating credit activities. The essential functions and basic duties of the intern will be the following: spreading and analysis of commercial financial statements & tax returns for prospective and existing loan customers; financial statement spreads will be performed; assist loan officers in making credit decisions on new loan requests or loan renewals; assist Loan Review Officer with credit grading; perform loan reviews of existing commercial loans; recommend credit grades based on creditworthiness of borrower; identify documentation exceptions and complex and non-complex financial analysis on commercial requests.

Able to use financial calculator and related computer applications and business machines.

Required Experience

Education/Certification:

Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Accounting or Finance with a minimum of 12 hours of Accounting.

Required Knowledge:

Understanding of general accounting methods.

Experience Required:

Accounting or Finance degree preferred.

1 year experience in banking as a teller, new accounts, or lending assistant is preferred.
