Creative Activation Manager

Function Specific Activities:
Develops program execution for specific customer portfolio. Programs include custom programs as well as tailored national dispensed and package programs. Manages agencies to take projects after concept approval, to release of final art Manages budgets in MEM (stewards’ PO process) in concert with the Sr. Shopper Marketing Manager or Marketing Activation Manager

POSITION PURPOSE:
Develops program execution for specific customer portfolio. Programs include custom programs as well as tailored national dispensed and package programs.

Manages agencies to take projects after concept approval, to release of final art

Manages budgets in MEM (stewards PO process) in concert with the Sr. Shopper Marketing Manager or Marketing Activation Manager

Acts as subject matter expert to ensure all custom POS, packaging, coupons etc., protect the company’s rights, trademarks and investment while serving the best interest of our customers and asset partners

Manages project and agency creative budgets

Leads the development and execution of the 7-Eleven Experience (National) and Franchisee Tradeshow

Serves as primary creative interface

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:Directs / manages against customer work:
Creative materials for all custom messaging

Marketing asset in-venue consumer activation

Promotional materials (coupons, sweeps, coordination, etc.)

Packaging wraps, labels, insertions, etc.

Develops customer specific messaging and materials to support activation:

Customer specific POS and merchandisers

Digital activations (as necessary)

Premiums for market activation

Media / marketing assets

All Legal approvals

Manages budgets:
MEM / POS / CTM /DMI / Merchandising

QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: Bachelor’s degree

Experience:
3-5 years of experience, preferably with agencies who support the consumer goods/beverages industry

Knowledge of brand strategy and application across channel, including local marketing

Budget and project management

Understanding of the key drivers of brand health across entire portfolio

Knowledge of key consumption occasions, shopper messaging, and methods of activation

Proven track record of achieving sustainable results

Specialized Technical Skills:
Minimum Required:
Knowledge of Agency capabilities

Planning and organizing experience; execution bias for action Brand architecture/positioning, TM use, legal guidelines and Vis ID SME

Media (tags, scripts, print ads, program ads)

Rules development, legal approval process

Coupon codes

Prize fulfillment

Brand Acumen – positioning, role, occasions, vision

Collaboration (e.g., Region Commercial, Sales) Effectively communicates & builds relationships at all organizational level

Knowledge in consumer / shopper insights and trends
