  • The candidate is a senior software developer with a minimum 8 years
  • Experience in programming, preferably in electronic trading,Fixed Income in the financial services.
  • Core Java knowledge – Spring Framework, Patterns, Collections, Garbage Collection
  • Experience building real time applications in Multithreading for a Unix/Linux platform
  • Experience working on a team operating under an Agile Scrum delivery methodology
  • Excellent analytical skills and the ability to provide alternative solutions to technical problems
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Possess strong leadership skills and a self-starter
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems Management or equivalent experience.

Compensation: $85-$115/Hr.

  • 8 or more years’ experience in software development . Especially building large highly-scaled complex N-Tier/SOA web-based business applications with a focus on server side technologies.
  • Hands-on development, documentation and testing of distributed applications.

  • Creating architectures and complex designs independently and documenting them

  • Experience with open source framework/libraries/concepts/tools such as JMS (Sun MQ), Cobertura, Ant, Maven, PostgreSQL, JBoss, Selenium is required
  • Effective oral and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate challenging or technical concepts
  • Full software development lifecycle experience, must be comfortable working using Agile as well as iterative methodologies
  • Experience with Test-driven development using tools like JUnit and Selenium as well as JMeter, and JProfile to spot performance issues and memory leaks

· Experience with JCR systems (preferably JackRabbit) strongly preferred
