COBOL Developer – Transportation

Job Description

As an experienced COBOL Developer you will collaborate with business and be responsible for the analysis, design, coding and production of solutions that streamline and improve efficiency of the thousands of employees worldwide.

In this important role you will not only participate within our technical teams, but will also work closely with our non-technical product owners and end users necessitating an understanding of business problems and opportunities. Having a strong sense of curiosity about the business, exceptional technical skills, and an innate customer service-oriented attitude are essential for being successful in this position.

Qualifications
Essential Experience

• Requirements gathering, analysis and documentation
• Systems design and documentation
  
• Development and testing of data flows, applications and systems
• COBOL programming
• Experience with at least one of the following Database environments IBM DB2, HP Image

Preferred Experience

• Experience with integration between systems
  
• HP COBOL Programing, Fresche – AMXW, ORDAT – Ti2SQL
• Object-oriented programming experience
• Operating systems include UNIX, Windows
• BS in Computer Science
