Position Overview:

The Client Service Representative is responsible for assisting True Health Diagnostics clients through phone and e-mail in response to inquires by clients, patients and sales representatives.

Required Education, Skills and Experience:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • The ability to communicate effectively, multi-task and work under pressure is the key to success in this position, which also requires extreme attention to detail and a commitment to achieving consistent customer satisfaction.
  • The Client Services Representative must also have a working knowledge of computers and Microsoft Office products to include:
  • Microsoft Windows OS
  • Outlook
  • Word
  • Excel
  • The Client Services Representative has access to confidential patient data available in True Health’s Lab Information System (LIS) and has access to both incoming and outgoing telephone calls and faxes. Therefore the ability to uphold HIPAA compliance is mandatory.

Preferred Education, Skills and Experience:

  • Educational background in chemical or biological sciences is helpful.

Essential Functions/Responsibilities (other duties may be assigned):

  • The main responsibility of the Client Services Representative is as a member of the Client Services Team.
  • Client Service’s Team is responsible for:
  • Documenting HIPAA violations
  • Coordinate with other departments to resolve issues
  • Printing and tracking patient reports on a daily basis
  • Answer and assist clients with calls related to:
  • General Inquiries about the company and our services.
  • Requests for patient lab reports.
  • Supply orders.
  • Specimen pick-up requests.
  • Answer patient calls and assist them with
  • General billing questions.
  • Scheduling appointment with personal health coaches.
  • Respond to inquiries made by clients, patients, and sales representatives in a prompt and efficient manner.
  • Knowledge of True Health Diagnostics, test offerings, consultation services is essential.
  • Professionally communicate patient test results and other data to healthcare professionals in a timely manner.
  • Adhere to True Health’s Health and Safety Guidelines.
  • Adhere to HIPAA guide lines to protect patient confidentiality.
  • In addition, the Client Services Team Representative performs duties related to problem discovery and resolution and works closely with the supervisory staff in Accessioning and other departments within True Health Diagnostics.
  • Adhere to and uphold all applicable federal and state compliance regulations as well as True Health’s Code of Conduct and Ethical Responsibility, compliance policies and procedures, and applicable healthcare fraud, waste and abuse laws.

The employee frequently is required to stand, walk; sit; and use hands to finger, handle, or feel, and work with a computer. The employee is occasionally required to reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and smell. The employee must occasionally lift up to 50 pounds and/or carry objects weighing up to 25 pounds. The employee is required to perform repetitive motions, including reaching above the head, and typing. Specific vision abilities required by this job include peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. Color-blindness testing is required for those with job-specific duties requiring color discrimination.
