Customer Service Specialist

Virginia Housing Development Authority ( VHDA ), one of the nation’s top Housing Finance Agencies, is looking for an individual with exceptional communications skills to join the Homeownership Loan Servicing Division as a Customer Service Specialist. In this fast paced environment, the successful candidate will handle mortgage servicing calls that may include:

• Manage large number of inbound and outbound calls in a timely manner

• Identify customers’ needs, clarify information, research every issue and provide solutions

• Keep records of all conversations in our servicing system in a comprehensible way

• Build sustainable relationships and engage customers by taking the extra mile

Minimum Qualifications

The successful candidate must be customer focused. Significant years of experience in mortgage servicing utilizing the Black Knight/ MSP servicing system is preferred. Essential competencies include strong judgement, analytical ability, adaptability and be mission driven. Bilingual fluency in Spanish and English is preferred but not required.
