Capital Planning Deployment Lead – Virtual (Open to all US Locations)

OVERVIEW

Currently, we are seeking a Capital Planning Deployment Lead to join our Project Development Services PMO Capital Planning Product Team.

The PMO Capital Project Planning Team is tasked with various capital planning activities including: sales of the product, implementation of the product for various clients and variable engagements to perform capital project planning. This will include: review of current client/account capital planning processes; development and deployment of our capital planning process and technology; and follow-up with accounts deployed and sharing best practices and enhancements to the technology and processes.

This is a full-time position and will be a combination of working virtually and travel.

This position has very strong growth potential to become a subject matter expert and grow into a Program Lead position.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Work with Product Lead to implement and deploy the service to new clients
  • Various temporary/variable assignments to perform capital planning on client accounts

  • Lead/manage the deployment and implementation of the service
  • Lead/manage account transformations to enhanced service levels
  • Work with account teams (internal and external) to develop technology configurations, tools and templates for each assigned project
  • Develop/document client specific client/account processes and protocols for project approvals, stage gates
  • Develop/document client/account specific integrations with other service lines
  • Develop/document proposed process and protocols by editing baseline playbooks, RASCI, tools and templates
  • Assist Capital Planning Team in the establishment and refinement of best practices of standards of excellence
  • Assist in training and developing internal and external team members in the skills and understanding of firm procedures, methodology and practices
  • Build rapport with client/account representatives, and ensure scope of project and outside business forces affecting the project are fully understood
  • Thorough review of business need, scope, budget, and risks for assigned projects
  • Identify and address areas of concern regarding potential risk surrounding project, project logistical issues, budget and scope

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in Accounting, Business, Architecture, Engineering, or Construction Management, strongly preferred
  • MBA, preferred
  • 15+ years of practical project experience
  • Experience in construction management, preferred
  • Previous experience effectively supervising, training, mentoring, and evaluating several project managers at various levels within the organization/team

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

  • Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
  • Highly organized with strong analytical skills
  • Very strong presentation skills
  • Ability to lead a workstream/team and control meeting agendas
  • Strong process skills (Six Sigma)
  • Strong interpersonal skills with an ability to interact with executive level external and internal clients
  • Basic understanding of real estate asset management
  • Basic understanding of fundamental financial terms and processes (expense, depreciation, ROI, payback etc)
  • Broad background of project type and size preferred
  • Time management skills
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, Visio and Project software

TRAVEL

  • Flexibility with work hours and travel as needed.
  • Position will require periodic travel to clients and project sites, which will include some overnight travel
