Business Intelligence Services, Senior Analyst

What is the opportunity?

As a Business Intelligence Services Senior Analyst with RBC Wealth Management you will, provide project based and ad-hoc reporting services. As well as, evaluate new requests by applying best practices to negotiate deliverables, timelines and direction that successfully meet business requirements.

What will you do?

Work across multiple business lines within RBC WM U.S., City National Bank and global RBC partners

Work with RBC international partners on cross-border initiatives, peer-to-peer planning, and manage day-to-day internal client relationships

Engage third party expertise and resources to explore ideas, change, opportunities

Serve as a proactive source of new innovative and work with internal clients to support and create new tools across all tool platforms supported BIS

Apply individual cross-discipline expertise in to specific projects as required

Work closely with senior management, management, Analytics , local head office departments and field staff to develop ideas and initiatives related to reporting and analytics

Use SQL, SAS, Alteryx and Tableau to answer questions and create reports

Ensure all day to day operations and tools supported by BIS are operating and current to specifications and develop measures and metrics for evaluating and tracking impact and effectiveness for company initiatives

What do you need to succeed?

Must-have

6 years of business intelligence experience and SQL experience

6 years SAS, Alteryx or other data modelling experience

5 years Tableau experience

3 years project or production management experience

Nice-to-have

Preferred Tableau Desktop Professional certification.

Preferred experience or designation in project management, database administration, accounting or other data-intensive areas

Preferred experience with Python, R, Java, C, Hadoop, and related technologies

Strong creativity skills – ability to try new ideas and approaches and ability to work in a fast paced environment and manage several key projects at the same time

A self-starter with high energy and a driven curiosity to go beyond the obvious and provide ideas for innovation
