Back End Web Developer

A Back End Web Developer with a passion for software development in a high pace/high reward environment is needed for our well established 24-year-old web and software firm. While there is significant independence available in this position, there will also be team discussions to determine the best approach to products, functionality and client work. We are looking for an ambitious team player who loves to code and wants to “OWN” a product line and build a great department. We are excited about where our company can go and want you to be too. We don’t expect applicants to have a full range of experience with all the noted technologies, but the ability to learn quickly is essential.

Responsibilities and Duties

Keys to Success:

• Be able to self-direct and handle multiple, competing priorities
• Meet deadlines within budget
• Produce high-quality code with limited QA
• Open to working on legacy code with an eye towards improvement and long-term success
• Provide technical insight
• Ability to quickly learn and implement new technology platforms
• 4+ years or equal level of experience

Qualifications and Skills

Current Technologies:

• ColdFusion 8-10, Railo, Lucee, or other server-side languages
• SQL
• JavaScript
• API knowledge
• Object-oriented
• Proprietary CMS

Bonuses:
