Application Developer

The Application Developer is primarily responsible for the design, coding, implementation and debugging of a variety of software development projects, with a focus on developing applications within our Microsoft Web and SharePoint environments. The position is responsible for debugging, fixing and enhancing existing web and SharePoint applications. The Application Developer works with the IT department and various other internal and external stakeholders, to analyze user needs and develop software requirements.

Job Responsibilities

• Updates, repairs, and modifies existing software and generic applications

• Participates in planning, system design and coding of new applications

• Devises possible solutions to anticipated software problems

• Reacts quickly to software issues and corrects them

• Works closely with analysts, designers and staff on projects

• Keeping current with new software technologies

Job Requirements

• Bachelors’ in Computer Science or related field, required

• 4-6 years’ experience in application development

• 2-3 years’ experience developing applications for a SharePoint 2010 environment, preferred

• Experience with Microsoft .Net Framework 3.0 to 4.5; Microsoft SQL Server and SSRS, required

• Experience with Javascript and jQuery, required

• Understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), required

• Experience with Angular.JS (Angular 1) or Vue.JS desired

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, required
