Job Summary (Purpose):
Primary purpose of the EDI Lead Business Analyst is to

serve as a liaison between business groups, functional

and technical teams to gather and translate business

requirements into conceptual design. Partners with

internal stakeholders to plan and test EDI solutions to

ensure that solutions meet quality standards.

Coordinates the development, implementation and

operation of E-commerce (B2B EDI) and the interfaces

with business systems. Will be responsible for the

corporate compliance of EDI solutions that comply with

Sarbanes Oxley and the emerging Payment Credit Industry

Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS).

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Establish billing requirements for centrally managed

customers that create the best match of customer process

to AmeriGas capabilities by guiding and coordinating

cross-functional teams.

• Management of EDI technical team to ensure delivery of

current and new customer EDI processes.

• Partners with business teams to elicit, analyze,

translate, and document business requirements.

• Developing user acceptance testing strategies in

conjunction with end users.

• Management of defects from identification, tracking to

resolution.

• Design an effective business process for the

electronic exchange of business documents by analyzing

both the AmeriGas and trading partner system flows and

requirements.

• Ensure the effective processing of business data by

working with the technical team to design and develop

business systems interfaces required to support the

process.

• Ensure the accurate and compatible exchange of

business data by designing and providing functional

requirements for the mapping of data to the appropriate

transactions and versions.

• Ensure the accurate and compatible exchange of

business data by testing the solutions provided by the

technical team.

• Provide technical consulting to management on

electronic business transactions by conducting research

in the latest technology, standards and best practices

in the industry.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Ability to support multiple concurrent projects and

meet timelines.

• Knowledge of EDI standards, practices, and mapping

software (Seeburger).

• Knowledge of EDI document standards 810, 820, 850,

852, and others.

• Knowledge of SAP Order to Cash including interface

tools (XI/PI/IDOC).

• Knowledge of Scan Based Trading business processes and

technology.

Education and Experience Required:

• Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Information

Technology

• Experience in business systems analysis, SAP EDI and

the order to cash processes.

• 7 – 10 years of progressive, hands-on IT experience

that includes the development and support of EDI

solutions.

• Experience supporting Financial Systems applications.
