Acquisition Analyst- Cargo

KBR is seeking an experienced Acquisition Analyst to support a fast paced Army Aviation project office on Redstone Arsenal. Experience with acquisition planning and contracts management is a must. The following responsibilities/duties will be required:

Acquisition Planning, understanding requirements, working with technical team and evaluating best path forward for contract award.

Prepare Contract Requirements Packages (CRPs) to include such items as Statement of Work (SOW)/Performance Work Statements (PWS), Justification and Authorization (J&A), Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL), Document Summary List (DSL), Funding Requests and other documents needed.

Coordination with Contracting Officers, Program Integrators, Budget Analysts and others to execute mission requirements.

Briefing leadership on status of contract actions.

Contract management to include monitoring contract administration, incremental funding and other duties required to support testing, integration, production and fielding of an Army helicopter platform.

The following qualifications are desired for this position:

Knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Army contracting regulations.

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience performing the above mentioned duties.

Security Clearance is required

5 years of experience or more supporting a Government or DoD project office

Foreign Military Sales (FMS) experience is a plus

Demonstrated ability to work independently, set priorities plus strong organizational skills.
