R.J. Schinner Co., a strong 60 year old company and a leader in the redistribution industry is seeking an Accountant for our Menomonee Falls location.

Job Summary:

Responsible for assuring that customer and group rebates are created, calculated, reconciled, and issued in a timely and accurate manner. This position reports to the Controller.

Hours: 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Hours may vary depending on daily workload. Flexible start and ending times.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Calculate and coordinate payments for monthly, quarterly, and annual customer and group rebates in accordance with the contract terms
Calculate, reconcile, and post accrual entries
Reconcile group membership lists with customer list
Report new group members to marketing and sales staff
Take action on inquiries and discrepancies with customers and groups
Evaluate, monitor, and issue credits for trade shows, allowances, and special pricing
Ensure contracts are executed properly
Provide sales support on customer credits, rebates, and local contracts
Load report parameters into ERP and reporting software (Trackmax)
Assist in special projects as necessary*

Minimum Qualifications

Associate degree in Accounting or equivalent experience
Must have strong experience with Microsoft Excel
ERP system experience is preferred
Requires good oral and written communication skills
Attention to detail and accuracy
