IT Support Technician – Level 1

An IT Level-1 specialist is responsible for operations and maintenance of the company’s computer system on all levels to include servers and all peripherals throughout 7 facilities with little to no interruptions.

Technical Skills

• Network experience required
• Healthcare experience is a plus

• Desire to build additional technical skills
• Working knowledge of Windows OS
• Infrastructure Maintenance
• Solid working knowledge of peripheral devices
• Knowledge of network and desktop technologies

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Good problem solving and analytical skills
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair hardware via helpdesk and on-site
• Assist IT Manager in maintenance of the network infrastructure
• Answer calls in a professional manner including managing tone and content of verbal context
• Ability to work a broad range of experience levels
• Good administrative and organizational skills
• Possess a willingness to work overtime and work varying hours as required
• Ability to follow instructions to produce desired results

Education and/or Experience:

• Minimum 2-year desktop or field support service required
• MCSE certification preferred
• Electronic Health Record experience preferred
• Minimum A+ or Network+ certification

Physical Demands:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to: sit, use hands to finger, handle or feel, reach with hands and arms. The employee is required to stand, walk stoop kneel and crouch often. The employee must have the ability to safely lift and/or move heavy objects regularly. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
