Workshop Assistant (Hospitality)

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Preparing of training kitchen facilities for scheduled practical sessions
• Assist lecturers with stocktaking of consumables and equipment
• Replenish consumables as needed
• Assist lecturer during practical sessions/demonstrations
• Assist with preparation and setup of functions/events
• Assist in ensuring high level of health and safety, cleanliness, food hygiene and safe working

practices

• To carry out all duties as required in the kitchen environment

REQUIREMENTS

• Grade 9/ABET Level 2
• Computer literate

Recommendations

• Driver’s licence
• Hospitality Qualification
• Working experience in Hospitality industry
• Experience in working in an educational institution
