WORDPRESS DEVELOPER NEEDED-NO DESIGN REQUIRED

Ready for a challenge? Our quickly growing agency is in need of a well-rounded WordPress developer. We have a ton of work and need someone who’s ready to jump in, get caught up on a number of projects, and power through.

In exchange for your adaptability and exceptional work ethic, you’ll get to work in a fun and creative environment with like-minded developers, designers, and creatives. We have a tightly knit team who are always happy to share knowledge, help out when you get stuck, and teach new tricks.

YOUR TYPICAL DAY

• Develop pixel-perfect WordPress sites based on our (fantastic) designers’ mock-ups
• Stay on top of client projects, client phone meetings, and email
• Launch completed websites
• Work with designers to help them plan their designs around available technology

You’ll have a very high level of autonomy here. So, to be successful, you’ll need to be able to manage your time effectively.

REQUIRED SKILLS

• WordPress
• HTML
• CSS3
• Responsive design
• Decent jQuery and PHP
• Comfortable in Photoshop (exporting completed design elements)
• Eye for and appreciation of great design (respect for our designers’ vision)
• Ability to speak with clients! : )

BONUS SKILLS

• Custom WP theme development
• Divi theme experience
• Familiarity with WooCommerce and setting up eCommerce websites
• WP plugin development
• LAMP server admin
• Advanced jQuery (or even some vanilla JavaScript, wow!)
• Experience launching sites on various hosts
• Email setup and troubleshooting
• Comfortable using the command line
• Fancy CSS3 + HTML5
• LESS, Sass, or Stylus
• Front-end build tools
• mySQL (experience with phpMyAdmin is a plus)
• Git and Github or Bitbucket
• cPanel, WHM
• Basic understanding of on-page SEO optimization
