WebSphere (WAS) Administrator

Position: WebSphere (WAS) Administrator

Locations: Orlando, FL (Tampa, Orlando, Jacksonville, Doral, Sunrise, Maitland- FL)

Duration : 6 months to 1yr (Contract to Perm)

Pay Rate: $55/hr

Position is open in Various Cities in FL (Candidate must be willing to relocate).

NOTE: Applicants must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident of the U.S.

Required skills:

• Experience managing Websphere App Server (Version 7.0+)

• 5+ years hands-on experience

• Responsible for installing, designing, configuring, patching, performance tuning & troubleshooting

• Platforms (AIX, Windows, iSeries, Linux)

• Experience supporting WAS with IBM DB2 & Oracle database environments

Preferred skills:

• Automation experience

• Lead experience (formal or informal)

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $55.00 /hour

Required education:

• Bachelor’s

Required experience:

• Platforms (AIX, Windows, iSeries, Linux): 5 years
• Automation (Nice to Have , not required): 1 year
• Websphere App Server (Version 7.0+): 5 years
• installing, designing, configuring, patching, tuning: 1 year
• WAS with IBM DB2 & Oracle database environments: 5 years
