Web Developer

NYONair is seeking a Web Developer that can work in new and existing projects. The ideal candidate for this position is a hands-on professional with strong knowledge of PHP, WordPress and E-Commerce solutions. The Web Developer will be responsible for updating our current online applications, as well as developing and implementing a usability testing process to ensure the new website applications meet our company’s requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Ensuring high-performance and availability, and managing all technical aspects of the CMS.
• Helping formulate an effective, responsive design and turning it into a working theme and plugin.
• Rigorously device and browser-test your implementations.
• Research new technologies for engaging user interactions, experiences, and data visualizations.
• Work closely with marketing and design teams.Communicate well, effectively manage time, and deliver against deadlines.

Qualifications and Skills:

• 3+ years professional experience in object-oriented PHP and MySQL application development.
• Knowledge of WordPress & WooCommerce.
• Experience designing and developing responsive design websites.
• Experience with enterprise-scale Web application development.Good understanding of front-end technologies, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript.
• Knowledge of how to interact with RESTful APIs.
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools (GIT)
• Pluses for this role include experience with NodeJS, & other E-Commerce platforms.
• Experience with Google Webmaster Tools/Analytics.Strong teamwork skills.
