Bixby is an intelligent personal assistant that is only available as a built-in application on Samsung flagship devices and wearables. This application uses a natural language user interface to perform tasks on these devices using voice, including but not limited to making phone calls, sending text messages, setting up meetings, opening apps, setting alarms and timers, getting directions, answering general questions, providing information about restaurants and other businesses, etc. These functions vary depending on the phone or wearable model. The Bixby team is focused on the rapid development of cloud-based services for Samsung Intelligence Services.

Necessary Skills / Attributes
Responsibilities Include: • Develop UI components for the services related to Samsung Intelligence Services • Optimize applications for speed and scalability • Technical leadership for innovations in UI design and development • Technical leadership for software development process all the way from development to testing to production deployment • Troubleshoot issues, implement fixes, and apply enhancement to UI components • Work with business and product stakeholders to identify requirements and expected deliverables • Model and frame business scenarios that has impacts on business processes, decisions, and key performance index • Work with other technical leaders inside Samsung • Work with customers and partners on deployments and technical integrations • Investigate technologies and propose technology recommendations • Create quick prototypes and proof-of-concepts • Lead and mentor a growing team with varied experience levels Experience Requirements: • 3-5 years hands-on experience in Web/Front-end development • Familiarity with Object oriented concepts • Experience integrating with RESTful web services • Proficient in HTML5, CSS3 and JavaScript • Proficient in Responsive CSS Frameworks (Bootstrap, Ionic, Foundation, etc) • Proficient in advanced JavaScript libraries and frameworks (JQuery,UnderScore, AngularJS, BackboneJS and ReactJS, etc) • Good understanding of asynchronous request handling, partial page updates, and AJAX • SQL and NoSQL databases, including MySQL, MongoDB and Couchbase • Expertise in Linux (RedHat, Ubuntu, CentOS) • BS, MS or PhD in Computer Science or equivalent experience • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Preferred Experience Requirements: • Bootstrap, Ionic, Foundation • JQuery,UnderScore, AngularJS, BackboneJS, Electron and ReactJS • Amazon Web Services and Azure • SQL, NoSQL
