The Web Developer will provide support in all aspects of the FAU OmniUpdate Content Management System (CMS), including adoption by colleges and university departments, account management, system administration and training.

The Web Developer will provide support and design through research, analysis and consultation on the use of new web technologies and techniques.

Minimum Qualification:
Master’s degree from an accredited institution in an appropriate area of specialization; or a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in an appropriate area of specialization and two years of appropriate experience required.

A solid foundation with the LAMP stack required.

Proficient with front-end technologies including HTML5/CSS3 and JavaScript (jQuery Library is a plus).

Working knowledge of front-end responsive gridding system frameworks (Bootstrap is a plus).

Strong ability to bridge the communication gap between technical and non-technical users.

Strong understanding of web development within an established brand.

Exceptional organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills both written and verbal Ability to work well in fast-paced environment as part of a team as well as independently.

Strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks effectively while working with tight deadlines. Ability to work independently with University clients while adhering to University policy.

Experience with OmniUpdate OU Campus preferred.

Working knowledge of XML/XSLT preferred.

Working knowledge of UX/UI best practices and principles preferred.
