​ WebMD is seeking an Web Developer to join our close-knit team of talented professionals dedicated to building and enhancing WebMD’s website. The ideal candidate has diverse experience building new products and supporting tracking frameworks.

Responsibilities

Creating new products and enhancing current products across the WebMD site

Helping with tracking frameworks

Project responsibilities include development, testing, documentation, implementation, and maintenance

Work closely with a cross-functional Scrum team to understand requirements and recommend appropriate solutions

Actively participate in and contribute to global site discussions and initiatives

Actively contribute to and enforce best practices, group standards

Proactively keep up-to-date on industry trends and emerging technologies; drive adoption of new technologies and best practices

Qualifications

Bachelors in Computer Science, or equivalent.

4+ years of web development experience required.

Strong knowledge of React, NodeJS, RESTful web services, HTML5, CSS3, JSON

Experience with MVC frameworks (e.g. React, AngularJS, BackboneJS, etc).

Experience with React, Stylus, Handlebars, Responsive design experience

Solid knowledge of Object Oriented Design

Familiarity with Automation Tools

Familiarity with Test-Driven Development

Experience working on agile development teams
