Web Developer

Responsibilities

We are looking for an eager individual to fulfill a Web Developer position. The candidate will be responsible for the coding, innovative design and layout across the Parkmobile application, website, marketing materials.

We are looking for someone who can improve user interface and overall customer experience for our websites and applications, including overall navigation flow, layout and creation of individual graphic elements from concept to fruition.

Design and develop email marketing templates, web page layouts, landing pages and user flows following existing web standards and SEO strategies

Navigate browser dependencies to produce cross-browser compatible HTML, CSS, and JavaScript

Improve current user interface to promote superior end user experience

Implement Responsive Design characteristics to support tablet and mobile development

Perform automated styling and affects using common libraries

Code efficient and minimalistic loading for optimum web speed and performance

Maintain code in existing eCommerce Content Management System

Other functions as assigned by department manager

Develop and implement effective internal systems supporting Marketing and Sales departments

Work in a collaborative environment with other developers, providing support when needed

Manage project tasks, timelines, & communication

Perform routine website maintenance as needed

Other tasks as needed for successful project completion

Skills & Requirements

Proven record developing outstanding user experiences based on wireframes & mockups using markup, CSS, JavaScript & Bootstrap

Experience with pure JavaScript & JavaScript frameworks such as AngularJS, NodeJS, ReactJS & jQuery to name a few

Familiarity working with RESTful APIs

Working knowledge of databases including MS SQL, MySQL & MongoDB

Basic understanding of server-side CSS pre-processing platforms, such as LESS & SASS

Good understanding of asynchronous request handling, partial page updates & AJAX

Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git or TFS is a MUST

Experience working with a CMS including Drupal & WordPress

Experience working in an AGILE environment

Strong grasp of security principles and specifically how they apply to E-Commerce

Google Maps, Google Analytics, Localytics & A/B testing

Self-starter with strong self-management skills

Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities

Able to work well in a team oriented environment

Willingness to learn new technologies & techniques

Experience with PHP & ASP is a plus

Experience in JIRA & Confluence is a plus
