The Marketing Department at Northside Hospital is responsible for all of the marketing, advertising,

and media relations for the Northside Hospital Healthcare System and its affiliated physician practices.

Our services include, but are not limited to:

designing and producing brochures, flyers, magazines and advertising (print, online and

broadcast)

managing the hospital’s websites and Facebook page

providing community outreach, sponsorships, and Foundation event marketing support

coordinating all media relations activities

Position Description

Web Developer position will be responsible for the design, security, optimization and maintenance of the Northside Hospital corporate and individual physician practice websites. This individual must be knowledgeable in web programming, development, social-media and its technologies.

Position Requirements

Required: Bachelor’s degree in web design and 2 years’ experience or Associates degree with a minimum of 4 years’ experience in web development. Mac Platform Minimum of 2 years online marketing and/or social media experience (agency and/or in-house) Internet Technology – basic knowledge of general internet technologies such as PHP, JQuery, HTML, Dreamweaver, JavaScript and URL structures Adobe Creative Suite 6 – Dreamweaver, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, QuarkXPress and some Flash (animation) PowerPoint, Word & Excel knowledge Preferred: Good organizational as well as excellent written and oral skills

License/Certification Requirements: No

Work Hours: 8:30a-5p

Weekend Requirements: No

On-Call Requirements: No
