Warehouse Systems Analyst_Shift_1

The incumbent will operate and monitor computer equipment using established programs and programs under development. Corrects operating problems at an intermediate level. Provides standard end-user support and troubleshooting. Will have knowledge in programming languages, operating systems and hardware. Will have knowledge of analytic software, material planning software, Warehouse Management System (RedPrairie).

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Observes operating processes in progress and reports any deviation from standards
  • Detects the nature of minor operating problems or failures and makes adjustments where possible
  • Solves operating programs using standardized tools
  • Maintains operating records, such as performance and production reports
  • Contributes to the development modification of the network/system and its various components
  • Installs and updates software Maintains and executes security procedures
  • Testing and confirming development of system changes
  • Collects data, performs analysis, and suggests improvement on usage, disruptions, and problems.
  • Solves disruptions/problems
  • Provides assistance to user management and IT project teams
  • Assists in system training to new employees
  • Travel required (0-10%)
  • Provide after hours support as needed.
  • QUALIFICATIONS

  • Associates degree or equivalent from an accredited college or university in a closely related field (Bachelor’s Degree preferred)
  • General knowledge of SQL
  • Troubleshooting methodology
  • Critical thinking skills
  • Testing
  • Documentation
  • Ability to learn to operate unknown applications without training
  • Knowledge of data gathering and technical writing for system changes
  • Additional Desired Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of Supply & Logistics
  • Knowledge of Six Sigma
  • PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
    Work is primarily sedentary. Sits comfortably to do the work; however, there may be some walking, standing, bending, or lifting item weighing up to 15 pounds.
