The Vice President of Filtration Solutions is responsible for generating profitable revenue growth within the network of company owned branches. This position requires managing sales of product, sales of service, as well as operational performance of the branches on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis. The Vice President of Filtration Solutions will understand the overall air filtration needs of the clients and provide solutions that deliver impactful value propositions of AAF/Flanders products and services. The Vice President of Sales and Service is responsible for creating a culture of a safe working environment, inventory control, and training of operational personnel within the branch, with supporting resources from the corporate office. This person will also play an important role in the strategic development of new products, solutions, and service as a sale on a National level.

  • Responsible for profitable sales growth of products and service within company owned branches.

  • Responsible for sales product, service, profitability, quality of work, and safety of branch operations.

  • Implement a process for safety meetings, security reports, maintain facility per environment, health, and safety standards.

  • Strategic contributor to our longer term branch operations including locations, infrastructure, technologies, resources, and the solutions that we will provide.

  • Responsible for leading sales team to generate plans and reports of sales activities, including but not limited to, account development (Retain, Acquire, & Develop), forecasting sales, expenses and profitability for assigned territory/market/customer.

  • Keep informed on new products and other general information of interest to customers and measure sales team accordingly.

  • Keep informed of changes in industry, technology, and other factors that might affect product sales.Gather and share information regarding competitive product developments, sales strategies, etc.

  • Maintain ample levels of inventory to meet delivery and service expectations of all branches.

  • Conduct quarter review process followed by monthly updates with sales people and manager to assure sales goals and action plans are met.

  • Oversee all aspects of profit center (operations, sales, admin, etc.) working closely with Credit Department at Corporate to determine appropriate credit level and resolve any credit issues

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams and peers to maximize growth through multiple channels of sale.

  • Proactively maintain branch leadership and staffing including working with the corporate recruiting team.

  • Work with inside sales support (Customer Service) to provide total customer satisfaction as measured by established criteria.

  • Perform other duties as assigned or requested.

  • Minimum 10+ years Sales Management experience within the manufacturing, distribution, and/or service industry.

  • Bachelor’s Degree Required. MBA preferred.

  • Negotiation, presentation, and facilitation skills.

  • Experience in providing service as a solution in addition to product sales is required.

  • Supervisory experience including that of commercial drivers and service technicians

  • Experience with SAP is strongly preferred.

  • Experience with CRM is strongly preferred.

  • Must be proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
