Visual/Graphic Designer

Planet Interactive is in search of a Visual/Graphic Designer with 5+ years of experience to work for one of our favorite education services clients in Schaumburg, IL. Ideally, you’re a passionate blend of digital & print enthusiast and design expert. In this role, you’ll work closely with brand leadership to grow our client’s brand recognition while driving performance. What You’ll Do:

• Create, design, and develop digital assets to support interactive campaigns including email blasts, microsites, landing pages, print & digital brochures, direct mail, print ads, GIFS, animations, and other projects with an eye to keep designs on brand and mobile-first mindset
• Collaborate with Creative Director to ensure designs are continuously optimized, aligned with best practices, and innovative
• Work well in a collaborative, team-based environment (work autonomously and as part of team)
• Propose style, format, production and timelines
• Complete design projects within tight deadlines
• Develop concepts, graphics, and layouts for 3D illustrations, company logos, and websites
• Check on projects to ensure accuracy of production files
• Ensure that requested corrections are completed on assigned projects before sending for review by brand leadership
• Ensure on brand continuity in visual messaging across all digital channels
• Monitor time spent assigned projects to ensure established due dates are met

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design, Fine Arts or Advertising
• 5+ years of design, graphic arts, and production in agency setting preferred
• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, as well as PowerPoint and Keynote
• Significant experience in layout for digital and with proven graphic design skills and experience
