Visual Designer

Vixlet’s Product Group is looking for a talented visual designer with agency experience working with large consumer brands and excellent skills designing promotional graphics, marketing emails, web banners, print, and social media graphics.

This is a full-time position in our Los Angeles office for an individual contributor who can shine by working collaboratively with other designers, marketing, brand managers, and product development teams. Responsibilities Include:
Conceive and create visually stunning designs

Create brand marketing assets for email, promotions, print materials, presentations, and social media

Ensure timely development and execution of projects

Collaborate with the product design team on procedures and best practices

Qualifications:
1+ years of experience in graphic design

Online portfolio or samples of work demonstrating strong visual design skills and innovative work

Proven proficiency in a variety of design tools, such as Adobe CS, Sketch, and InVision

Strong understanding of brand development and multichannel marketing concepts

Excellent layout and typography skills

Knowledge of print processing and setup

Basic understanding of HTML / CSS

Good communication skills with which to discuss design challenges and solutions

Strong organizational skills with the ability to meet deadlines and work independently

Team player who can take feedback with objectivity

Bachelor’s in Design or related field or equivalent professional experience within the design field

Preferred Qualifications:
Professional experience with brand development

Animation/ motion design experience

icon/ emoji design and illustration experience

Experience working in an Agile environment a plus
